Our curriculum for the afternoon will be from the "High Reach Integrated Learning Curriculum." Our goal is to help children get prepared and ready for Kindergarten. We teach pre-kindergarteners "reading and math readiness skills as well as social studies, science, and creative arts". Each unit has "concepts that focus on a main idea that connects learning with hands-on activities and real life experience." We also use "mini books, flip charts, alphabet charts, and picture cards to help children develop their reading and language skills." (www.playandlearn.com)
